Conference Staff
Harvard Model United Nations is staffed entirely by Harvard undergraduate students. The leadership structure of the conference has evolved over the conference’s rich and extensive history. The conference is led by the Secretary-General, elected by popular vote of the past year’s staff of HMUN as well as of the 18-member board of the Harvard International Relations Council. The conference is then divided into eight organs, each led by an Under-Secretary General (USG) selected by the Secretary-General. The USG is responsible for the management of their respective organs as well as the selection of a senior staff of 60 and a junior staff of over 100 Harvard students.
