Topic Summary

Delegates will participate in committee as members of the Mongol Empire in 1225, during one of the most pivotal events in its history: the imminent death of Genghis Khan. While the Mongols have established a widespread empire, they face several challenges to expansion including unity and establishing a stable succession. Delegates will be tasked with addressing increasing threats to their empire and determining the new course of the Mongol Empire while mitigating these challenges. They will need to work together to preserve Mongol dominance while shaping its political, economic, and military institutions.
