Meet the Secretariat

We are excited to present the Secretariat of HMUN 2027. They are determined to make this iteration of HMUN the best one yet, and they cannot wait to meet you at the conference!

Addison R. Gaddy
Secretary-General

Addison Gaddy is a senior at Harvard College studying Government and Romance Languages and Literature. She’s from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, where she was introduced to Model UN. Since then, Addison has spent way –a little too –much of her time on Model UN events/activities over the past four years, but she is incredibly grateful for the community and skills that MUN has brought her.

Within the International Relations Council, Addison was the Director General of HMUN 2026 and the Under-Secretary-General of Regional and Specialized Bodies of HMUN 2025. She has directed at the Australia, India, and Latin America iterations of HMUN and favors the General Assembly Ad Hoc committees when directing at HNMUN Boston, HMUN’s sister conference. Outside of staffing, Addison was a head delegate of Harvard’s competitive Model UN team and is now enjoying retirement after competing at 12 collegiate conferences. She can’t wait to take her Model UN experience and passion to HMUN and be the 74th Secretary General!

When she finds downtime, Addison enjoys hanging out with friends, eating tomatoes, and listening to music (all recommendations are welcome!). Addison is already counting down the days until HMUN and meeting everyone!
