Meet the Secretariat
We are excited to present the Secretariat of HMUN 2025. They are determined to make this iteration of HMUN the best one yet, and they cannot wait to meet you at the conference!
Nicholas X. Yang
Secretary-General
Nicholas is a senior at Harvard College studying Computer Science and Neuroscience. He grew up in the beautiful state of Massachusetts. Nicholas has been involved in Model UN since the freshman year of high school, has served as the Director-General of HMUN 2025, and was previously the Secretary-General of HMUN China 2025 and the Under-Secretary-General of Administration for HMUN China 2024.
Outside of Model UN, Nicholas runs the Harvard Yearbook Publications as Business Manager and also helps out at the Harvard Undergraduate Science Olympiad as the Treasurer. He also enjoys coding and swimming in his free time. Nicholas is excited to serve as your Secretary-General for HMUN 2026 and cannot wait to meet everyone!

Addison R. Gaddy
Director-General
Addison Gaddy is a junior at Harvard College studying Government and Romance Languages and Literature. She’s from the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia, where she was introduced to Model UN. Since then, Addison has spent –a little too –much of her time on Model UN events/activities, but she is incredibly grateful for the community and skills that MUN has brought her.
She currently serves as the director of training for the General Assembly for Harvard’s competitive Model UN team, has participated in HNMUN 2024 and HNMUN-LA 2025, and served as the Under-Secretary-General for the Regional and Specialized Bodies at HMUN 2025. Addison is extremely excited to take Model UN experience and passion to HMUN and be the Director-General!
In addition to Model UN, Addison is involved in pre-professional clubs and groups within the Harvard community. When she finds downtime, she enjoys hanging out with friends, eating frozen yogurt, scrolling on TikTok, and listening to music. Addison is already counting down the days until HMUN and to meet everyone!

Devon Y. Chang
Under-Secretary-General for Administration
Devon is a sophomore at Harvard studying Human Developmental and Regenerative Biology, originally from Irvine, California.
He has participated in MUN since 8th grade, serving as a delegate, secretariat member, and crisis director.
Outside of HMUN, Devon enjoys playing violin for the Harvard Pops Orchestra. He also enjoys traveling, playing chess, and playing basketball with friends.

Rahul Yates
Under-Secretary-General for Business
Rahul is a junior at Harvard studying Government, Economics, and South Asian Studies. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
Rahul became involved with MUN in his freshman year in college, joining Harvard’s Intercollegiate MUN team, serving as a director at HMUN & HNMUN 2025, and staffing HMUN India 2025 as a member of the Secretariat.
Outside of MUN, Rahul is also a member of Harvard Undergraduate Foreign Policy Initiative, Consulting on Business and the Environment, and Harvard Dharma. In his free time, he loves to watch Bollywood movies and listen to music

Bautista M. Martinez
Under-Secretary-General for Finance
Bautista is a junior at Harvard College pursuing a double concentration in Computer Science and Government. He is from Montevideo, Uruguay (bonus points if you can locate it on a map).
Bautista has participated in Model UN since middle school, having acted as delegate, director, and Secretary-General in conferences both in Uruguay and abroad.
Outside of MUN, Bautista is involved in the Harvard International Review, Tech for Social Good, and Harvard Votes Challenge. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, and traveling, having been to over 15 countries–and excited to add new ones to the list!

Natalie N. Coon
Under-Secretary-General for Operations
Natalie is a junior at Harvard studying Government and Psychology. She originally grew up in a small town in rural Wisconsin.
Natalie has been involved in HMUN in many capacities, holding various positions and staffing conferences in Boston, Australia, and China!
Outside of MUN, Natalie is involved in the Harvard Political Review, The Crimson, and Harvard Model Congress. She can also be found spending time outdoors, discovering new music, or embarking on random adventures. She is so excited to return to HMUN Boston for an amazing conference!

Lucia M. Gallo
Under-Secretary-General for the General Assembly
Lucia is a junior at Harvard College studying Government and Economics. She was born and raised in New York City.
Lucia has been involved in Model UN for the past five years and currently serves as a Head Delegate for the Harvard Intercollegiate Model UN team. She also directed DISEC at both Harvard Model United Nations and Harvard National Model United Nations and served as Under-Secretary-General of HMUN China 2025.
Outside of Model UN, Lucia is also involved with the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations and Harvard Undergraduate Consulting on Business and the Environment. She enjoys cooking and reading in her free time. Lucia is excited to serve as the Under-Secretary General for the General Assembly and is incredibly excited to be part of this conference!

Kaitlin P. Cascio
Under-Secretary-General for the Economic and Social Council
Kaitlin is a sophomore in Eliot House studying Social Studies and Psychology. Kaitlin is originally from Alexandria, Virginia.
Kaitlin did not compete in high school, so her Model UN journey began with joining Harvard’s competitive travel team her freshman year. She is super excited to continue Directing at HNMUN 2026, HNMUN -LA 2026, and HMUN India 2025, but is even more excited for her role as Under-Secretary-General of ECOSOC for HMUN this year!
Outside of MUN, Kaitlin enjoys traveling, cooking food from different cuisines, reading thriller novels, painting, and is an avid New York Times-games player.

Himani Yarlagadda
Under-Secretary-General for the Regional and Specialized Bodies
Himani is a junior in Pforzheimer House studying Applied Mathematics with a minor in Global Health and Health Policy. Originally from Northville, Michigan, she was first introduced to the world of MUN her freshman year in high school. Since then, she has been a director at HMUN, HNMUN, and HMUN Australia along with serving as USG Administration at HMUN India 2025. Himani is so grateful for all the experience, skills, and memories that Model UN has given her, and she is incredibly excited to serve on HMUN’s Secretariat as the Under-Secretary-General for Regional and Specialized Bodies this year.
Outside of MUN, Himani serves as an EMT on Harvard’s campus, volunteers with the PBHA, and plays the flute. In her free time, she enjoys taking long walks exploring Boston, spending time with her dog (when she’s at home), and swimming. Himani can’t wait to meet everyone at HMUN 2026!

Mariana Ramirez Cabal
Under-Secretary-General for the Crisis Committees
Mariana is a senior at Harvard College studying economics and neuroscience. She was born and raised in Cali, Colombia.
Regarding MUN, she began in high school and continued in college. She has staffed both HMUN and HNMUN Boston, served as both a Director and the Under-Secretary-General for Administration at HNMUN-LA, and was the Under-Secretary-General of Committees for HMUN Australia.
Beyond MUN and academics, Mariana spends her time dancing and playing tennis. She is extremely excited to meet the delegates during HMUN 2026!
